The 2006 Longmeadow reunion was a great success!

*********************

It is not too early to firm up your plans to join with us in Springfield, MA for the CFAA Reunion July 27-29, 2006. This will be the 70th Anniversary of the founding of our organization in Springfield. We are returning there as has been the custom every ten years.

For the first time at a Cooley Reunion, we have chartered a tour bus for Friday to take us to various historic sights.

We will visit Longmeadow and relive the experiences of Benjamin Cooley, our common ancestor who settled in 1635 along the Connecticut River.

We will tour historic Springfield and see some homes that were built in the 1800’s by Benjamin’s descendants and visit cemeteries where several of our ancestors are buried.

As usual, we will have an Open House on Thursday afternoon and evening and a Banquet on Friday evening at the recently remodeled Crowne Plaza Enfield-Springfield Hotel in Enfield CT, just a few miles from Springfield. Joyce Jones, a part owner of the Noble and Cooley Drum Company of Granville MA, will be our banquet speaker.

The Reunion will conclude on Saturday morning after a final business meeting.

We have reserved a block of rooms at a bargain rate of $79 per night for a single (king bed) or double (two queen-size). To make reservations, call
1-800-2CROWNE, specify the Enfield-Springfield Hotel in Connecticut and ask for the Cooley Family Group Rate.

See the registration form for details on how to pre-register for the reunion package now and save $10. This will be one Cooley Reunion you won’t want to miss. See you in July 2006!
